From Friday, July 10, through Saturday, July 11, the Beaches Homeless Coalition, or BHC, will support Community Presbyterian Church, 150 Sherry Drive, Atlantic Beach, as the host church for a "Compassion Night."
In the intense heat, this and other events at local churches serve people in need throughout our community. The event provides meals, fellowship, showers, haircuts, clothing and a safe, comfortable place to sleep for our neighbors experiencing homelessness.
This year's event embraces an "America" theme and is made possible only through the generosity of the faith community.
