July 30, 2026 - The article, "Jax Native Named New JB Planning Director" mistakenly identified the city's new Planning Director, Jay Dixon, as a Jacksonville native, when he is actually from Chipley, FL. The headline was changed on July 30, 2026, to reflect the correct information. The line referencing the error was also changed to the correct location.
June 26, 2026 - The article "Qualifying Period Closes for the 2026 November Ballot" incorrectly noted that City Councilor Bill Horn was unchallenged in 2012. He was unchallenged in 2022. The term-limited Neptune Beach City Council member is Josh Messinger, not John (although we think both are fine names). Finally, while we included a photo of State Representative Kiyan Michael, we did not mention that she and State Senator Clay Yarborough, both representing the Beaches, were also unopposed.
