Beaches News, Inc., the nonprofit entity, does business as Beach Gazette. Beaches News's bylaws frame how the entity is governed. The bylaws state that there shall be between 3 to 5 board members and the requirement for each to sign the Conflict of Interest Policy. This, in addition to a 'firewall' between the Publisher and Editor ensures that readers are receiving news that has not been influenced by Board members or financial supporters.
